"I recently visited Mimosa Eko Cheras for a trial facial and wanted to share some honest feedback. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there is room for improvement. The beautician felt a bit inexperienced, her rhythm and technique (can immediately know the moment she applied toner) lacked the fluid precision and pressure you’d expect. The extraction on my cheeks was also quite painful, as it felt like the metal tweezer was tweezing my skin but other than that she was really gentle. On the plus side, the back massage was absolutely superb! As for the ambiance, they provided background sounds of sea waves, which I understand was meant to create a relaxing environment. However, it ended up being distracting because of the constant sounds of the basin outlet water suction, towel steriliser, chairs rolling, and bottle pumping completely defeated the purpose of having calming ambient music. It feels like a busy background but with my eyes closed. For a facial, apart from the treatment itself, serene and quiet atmosphere is everything to me. I really hope to be paired with a more experienced and mindful beautician for my upcoming sessions. Shout out to the receptionist/beautician who attended us, nice hospitality."
